Surya Park - I an Info-tech facility centre, was inaugurated by the Chief Minister, S.M.Krishna.

The brainchild of RGA and Primal Projects Group, the facility will house M/S.GE Capital International Services Limited. Having an area of 1.25 lakh Sq.ft. it will help the Company operate under one roof and expand simultaneously.

Mr. Krishna said lack of foresight and the right attitude would drive away multi-national companies to Hyderabad, Chennai, Mumbai, Pune or Nagpur.

Contrary to what was being projected, Bangalore was not the only City that was being developed. Places including Hubli-Dharwad were also given equal importance, he said.

Bangalore was a futuristic City and the entire state should be developed into a “global destination”. He spoke on how the recession in the U.S. had affected the City to a large extent.

Mr. Krishna commended the “ecological balance” maintained by the info-tech centers. Most of these centres are environment friendly with lot of greenery.

The foundation stone of Surya-Park – II was laid at the function. It will have an area of two-lakh Sq.ft.
The Group is planning another info-tech project on Ring Road that connects Airport Road and Sarjapur Road.
